Leveling Alliance Guide: Day 2 & 3
I missed an update last night because by the time I finished my session I was dead tired, and just wanted to pass out. So, sorry for the missed update.
That being said, I just hit level 18 and am done for the day. I wanted to show you guys the in-game talent guide:
The talent tree pops up every time you ding. You basically load which spec you want to level, (from a list of available ones they have for each class) at the very beginning, then every time you level a little “+1″ appears next to where you should be spending your next talent point. In this case I’m going frost and I have to say that because of it I feel like I’m killing faster.
Other guides and advice told me to get Frostbite after 5 points of Improved Frostbolt, as it adds survivability by giving you a chance to have your frostbolt freeze the target. Zygor instead tells you to invest in Ice Shards which increases the critical strike bonus of your frost spells. This has proven to be a really good idea as I crit fairly often, and now it’s much higher.
One downfall, is that during the level 13, I was only about 50% in and it told me to grind the rest. I wasn’t very happy with this, and it did take some time. Now, I appear to be ahead of the guide, but the good thing is I haven’t had to fight any mobs I’m not prepared to fight.
Also, if you use these guides be sure to visit your trainer every 2nd level. The guide doesn’t tell you to go learn new spells, and I found that I was questing in Westfall using a lower rank of Frostbolt than I could have been using. So be sure to keep that in mind.
